It's a story in itself of course, but we have the suggestion of two stories leading in, the real and the imagined, and a vast open space to follow up. You can read a lot into it too, with the dissonance and material both central. The snowstorm is a good metaphor for what we don't see, but if it's an epos, rather what we don't see yet. It has me wanting to read more.
I love this. So much communicated so vividly in such a short space. I hope you choose to either build an Expanders! epos, or continue it independently.
